Battlefield 3 will indeed be released for various platforms, including Xbox 360 and the Personal Computer (PC). Then how comparative quality of graphics?
Compared to the Xbox 360, PC is a much more sophisticated specifications. But DICE, Battlefield 3 as the developer, admitted giving special texture in order to look at the Xbox 360 looks interesting.
"For the Xbox 360 that has a hard drive, we are providing additional texture, but for who do not have it we provide a version of the 'standard def'," said Patrick Bach, Executive Producer of Dice.
Below is a Battlefield 3 graphical comparison between the PC with the Xbox 360 using the HD texture pack and what does not. As quoted from gamezone, Monday (24/10/2011).
From the screenshot above shows clearly that the PC still is superior to the problem of image detail, even when using the extra tekture on the Xbox 360. This is quite understandable considering these game consoles are older than 5 years.
